Thoughtful by default
The little details matter. Good work should feel clear, considered, and a pleasure to use.
A small corner of the internet
Making the web feel a little more human.
Hi, I’m Lachlan. I’m a developer who cares about the details, the people on the other side of the screen, and making useful things with a little bit of heart.
A little about metaking the scenic route
A little about me
Hello, again.
I like the space where good ideas meet good craft. The kind of work that makes someone’s day simpler, sparks a little joy, or makes them stop and say, “oh, that’s nice.”
This site is my place to share what I’m working on, what I’m learning, and whatever else feels worth putting out into the world. It’s a work in progress — much like the rest of us.
A few guiding thoughts
The good stuff.
A few things I try to bring along in whatever I’m making.
Curious for life
There is always something new to learn, a better question to ask, or another way to look at it.
Made for people
Technology is at its best when it brings people closer to the things they care about.
That’s the short version
Have a good thing in mind?
I’d love to hear what you’re working on, thinking about, or curious to make.
